This month’s devotional series, “Unfinished Business,” challenges us to prayerfully address the areas God is calling us to complete, resolve, release, or revisit so we can move forward with greater freedom, faith, and purpose.
Finish What You Started
God may be calling you to return to assignments, commitments, or responsibilities that have been left incomplete, trusting that He will give you the grace and strength to finish what He placed in your hands. “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6
Resolve What Is Unsettled
Unfinished business often includes unresolved conflicts, delayed decisions, strained relationships, or difficult issues we have continued to avoid; God may be calling us to confront these areas with wisdom, grace, and courage so that healing, reconciliation, and forward movement can begin. “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” — Romans 12:18
Make Room for What Is Next
Sometimes we cannot fully embrace the new season God is leading us into until we faithfully address what remains unfinished from the previous one. Completion creates space for clarity, freedom, and renewed purpose as we move forward in obedience. “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” — Isaiah 43:18–19
